Northeastern Thai folk music instrument ('vot') used in molam. Although it makes sound, this particular copy is mainly intended for decoration.
The vot is a wind instrument, originally from the area around Roi Et in Isan (Northeast Thailand). Since the '70's it is increasingly popular in Lao/Thai folkmusic.
