Rare original Thai 7" with two interesting productions.
On Side A we find 'I want to be son-in-law' by Thai singer Rungruang Daosurin (รุ่งเรื่อง ดาวสุรินทร์). Daosurin comes from the 'Leh' tradition of singing, which is a genre rooted in Buddhism and chanting of monks. The melody and lyrics are written by Chonlatee Tharatong (ชลธี ธารทอง), and the song is produced by Prayong Chuenyen (ประยงค์ ชื่นเย็น).
On Side B singer Sonchai Mekwichian presents a beautiful slow jam written by the famous Thai composer-duo Doi Inthanon-Chalong Phusawang (ดอย อินทนนท์-ฉลอง ภู่สว่าง).
Both tracks are fine examples of the rich and diverse Thai musical heritage, but furthermore are a treasure trove of samples for present-day producers looking for unique sounds with the irresistible sound of vinyl and vintage recording equipment.
Original Thai pressing from the late '60's or early '70's is in very good condition. Listen to the audio examples for an impression of the actual copy for sale.
